EcoTones Concerts is thrilled to bring the 'Beings of the Air 'concert to the grounds of Lyndhurst in Tarrytown, NY on Sunday, Aug 3 from 3:00-5:00, featuring an afternoon of music celebrating the nonhuman flying residents of the stunning Lyndhurst grounds, birds traveling the breathtaking flyway of the Hudson River on which Lyndhurst is perched, and the pollinating insects now thriving in Lyndhurst’s newly unveiled native plant garden.

Featuring Grammy-nominated improvising violinist Sara Caswell, acclaimed vocalist & guitarist Camila Meza, and cellist & composer Jody Redhage Ferber, the 'EcoTones: Beings of the Air' concert melds the melodic beauty of classical chamber music with the joy and energy of jazz improvisation. The concert features original chamber jazz compositions written for EcoTones Concerts events inspired by flying nonhuman beings and their superpowered characteristics and abilities.
This event will begin at 3:00 pm with a tour of the grounds surrounding the overlook where the concert will take place. The tour will explore the native garden around the platform that was designed by Hudson Valley landscape artist Paula Hayes, the history of the lower landscape, and other native plants that reside here on the property. At 4:00 pm, the concert will begin on the platform overlooking the Hudson River.
Tickets are $15 for adults and free for children. There will also be ice cream available for purchase!
